I help organizations understand complex human systems.

My work has always centered on improving human experiences within complex systems. Before working in technology, I supported people navigating public benefits, disability services, employment systems, and institutional constraints.
That experience still shapes how I approach research today. Social work taught me to look beyond an individual interaction and ask what conditions around a person were shaping the outcome. I carried that perspective into UX research, where the same instinct often leads me beyond a single feature or touchpoint to the larger system around it.
I use a range of research methods to challenge assumptions and bring greater depth, nuance, and perspective to complex product questions. I help teams rethink problems, prioritize opportunities, and make highly informed decisions.
I’ve worked across marketplaces, commerce and payments, enterprise SaaS, and mobile product ecosystems spanning both software and hardware.
View Case StudiesTechnology should be designed in the context of human systems.
I look beyond individual interactions to understand the people, relationships, environments, technologies, and organizational conditions shaping an experience. Impactful research depends not only on the quality of the evidence, but on the conditions surrounding how that evidence is produced, interpreted, and acted on.

Research Strategy
I audit what teams already know, how prior research has shaped decisions, and where blind spots remain.
I distinguish research requests from research needs and design programs that explore immediate questions, overlooked users, adjacent work, and longer-term uncertainties.
- 02
Root Cause Analysis
I diagnose the organizational, interpersonal, and operational conditions shaping a problem or limiting research impact.
This includes team dynamics, decision rights, processes, incentives, ownership, and capacity.

Strategic Synthesis
I transform complex evidence into frameworks that create shared understanding and guide decisions.
Depending on the problem, I develop original frameworks, adapt existing ones, or use established tools such as journey maps, ecosystem maps, mental models, Jobs to Be Done, opportunity maps, and experience principles.
